Join us, as we kick off the 2008 season is style at the Ashtabula Buffalo Wild Wings on Route 20.  Game time is 4:15 but we’ll be partying almost all day.  Make sure you stop by the backer table and pay or renew your dues for your membership card.  This is also your chance to meet up with out President, Wayne A. Lett.  Feel free to stop by and ask him questions about the Browns Backers and our group in particular.

We look forward to seeing you as we root on the Cleveland Browns beating the Dallas Cowboys in Cleveland Browns Stadium.

I scored some tickets to the Browns-Jets game tonight, so I will not be able to make it to B-dubs tonight for the game.  Anyone wishing to renew your club membership, please do so next Monday night as we take on the New York Giants @ 8pm.  I will be there and have the new cards ready to go for you.

This is an exciting year for Browns fans and also for our club.

We feel short of our ultimate goal of being the #1 Browns Backers Club of the Year, but to be in the Top 5 is a great honor that we can raise our heads to.  Out of almost 400 clubs, worldwide, we got to the Top 5.  We came in 3rd in voting overall.  So that is not bad at all.  The team that won it all does so much more than we have and has many more high profile members.

As our membership grows, I see no reason why we should slow down.

In fact, I am working with some guys to possibly get some players to come here for a meet and greet with our members.  I have met a lot of Browns players over the years and making some big contacts.  All this is possible through your dues.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 15th as the Browns Backers Worldwide and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton (OH) have once again teamed up to offer you "Browns Backers Day at the Pro Football Hall of Fame"!
